Cheap Theatre Tickets |

The inside scoop on cheap theatre tickets and theatre ticket deals

Based on actual experience, what is the best website for buying London theatre tickets ?

Looking for the site which is consistently the cheapest (ticket price, service charge, postage), most reliable and has the best access to tickets. Similar opinions on theatre / hotel package sites would be welcome as well i.e. standard of hotel, total price

Based on actual experience please, rather than a random Google search.

Cheers

I bought some tickets for Le Miz on the planet Hollywood website. You have a two course meal in planet hollywood and get to see a production of your choice.
I paid £21 the food was lovely the tickets were excellent had a really good view.

I can't promise they are 'consistently' the cheapest, but they are certainly one of the cheapest everytime I have used them in the past year. They also have exceptionally good seats available which they tend to release every couple of weeks, so it's worth keep looking back at the site every now and again. For information on the best seats in the theatres go to theatremonkey they also tell you where not to sit.

i’ve used ‘em all and there are pros and cons to most of them – even agencies allied with theatre chains like see which sometimes don’t have great availability. i’ve used westendtheatre a lot as they seem to have cheap offers for a broad range of shows (I mainly like plays so this has been my main buying experience). i’ve noticed other sites have the tag in the url so i think they are – but they give seat numbers so you can look up where you’ll be seating, are efficient and haven’t ever let me down
