There are two reasons why The Wizard of Oz London musical is attracting so much interest. The first is because it’s a new Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, and so many of his have been big hits in the past. The second reason for all the fuss is because of the leading lady star of the show, Danielle Hope who was selected by viewers of the TV casting show Over The Rainbow earlier this year. King Arthur and his knights embark on a low-budget search for the Grail, encountering many very silly obstacles.
The story of the legendary King Arthur, Sir Lancelot, the Brave, Sir Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave-as-Sir Launcelot, the Knight of Ni and the Bridgekeeper who asks people tricky questions that must be answered right or you die… or not.

Eric Idle wrote a theatrical version , based on the same stories and characters, what became the Musical “Spamalot”.
