I have been asked about cheap theatre tickets for the new stage musical version of The Wizard of Oz in London next year, and all I can advise at this stage really is to book early rather than later. The advance tickets are selling steadily and while there is still some availability for the early months, once these start to sell out – and sell out they surely will, then the only way to get decent seats after that will be to buy Wizard of Oz theatre breaks.
There are two reasons why The Wizard of Oz London musical is attracting so much interest. The first is because it’s a new Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, and so many of his have been big hits in the past. Just look at Evita, and Joseph and Cats, Phantom of The Opera, Love Never Dies, and there are many others too.
The second reason for all the fuss is because of the leading lady star of the show, Danielle Hope who was selected by viewers of the TV casting show Over The Rainbow earlier this year. Not only was Danielle absolutely adorable and winning in every way, but also so were a large number of the runner ups. In fact the girl who came a close second, Sophie Evans is going to be starring in the role of Dorothy as Danielle’s understudy and on every Tuesday as well as on Danielle Hope’s pre-booked holidays.

So The Wizard of Oz in London is a hot ticket already and the best bet for cheap theatre tickets is to know your dates well in advance and book through the usual online channels or better yet, go for a Wizard of Oz theatre break with best available tickets and a central London hotel for the overnight stay.

Legally Blonde Theatre Breaks Reviews
Producer Sonia Friedman told The Guardian: “There is something going on in this theatre, that’s for sure”. She went on to say: “The first preview was what I imagine Beatlemania to have been like. You sometimes couldn’t even hear the performers through the screaming. It was incredible. Now it has calmed down a bit, thankfully, so you can actually hear the show.”
