Go to the Tkts booth. Alternatively, what about going to the National? They often have tickets for £10, the programme is normally pretty reliable and it is in a great spot on the South Bank by Waterloo. After the show I would walk all along the South Bank to Borough, v. beautiful and romantic with the view of London across the river and head to some of the pubs there- The Market Porter, The Bunch of Grapes and the one on the corner the name of which I can't remember but its fab- downstairs there are these boothes to sit in which used to be prison cells or something. Sounds sinister but they are alot more comfortable than their former inhabitants would recognise! That's a great date I'd definitely be seduced!

If you are not in London try this web site. They've got lots of tickets for lots of stuff, not sure what they'll have for tomorrow, but the prices were quite good last time I used them. – or you can call the theatres directly, they do last minute cut price tickets if they don't get a full house….there's no guarantee, but you could get lucky. I'd recommend the musical Wicked.

I believe there's a place near Picadilly Circus where you can get last minute tickets to any theatre !! Ask a cabbie driver there , he'll know where !! God luck and Happy New Year !
