Cheap Theatre Tickets |

The inside scoop on cheap theatre tickets and theatre ticket deals

i neeed help with booking West End Tickets!!!!?

Where can i book them on the net(i live out of the UK) and at cheap prices if possible(!!hahaha!) Les Mis is like a Must but if i cant get or if its too expensive then maybe Phantom or…We Will Rock You \ Mamma Mia…

I would book via either www.lastminute.com or www.whatsonstage.com (checking which site has the cheapest deals!). Failing that, you can book online at www.seetickets.co.uk or at www.ticketmaster.co.uk, though they charge a booking fee. I have bought tickets from all these sites in the past, and they have provided very good service.

To check out where the best seats are in the theatre, and to make sure your 'cheap seats' are actually good ones too, check out the website www.theatremonkey.com, as this will tell you which seats to avoid, and also has seating plans for all the theatres.

Les Mis is wonderful, but all the shows you've mentioned are about the same price. I would recommend 'Billy Elliot' over 'We Will Rock You', unless you are the biggest Queen fan ever! And 'Wicked' is amazing, if you can't find tickets for the other shows.

Best place a short notice is to buy them on the day at the Ticket Booth in Leicester Square.

Where and when to buy cheap London theatre tickets

The best place could be online, or else the ticket booth in leicester square, but be warned get there early, as they do have long queues, first come first serve, but it is worth it as you do get cheaper tickets, much cheaper then the ticket touts.

Where to get cheap theatre tickets for good seats in London

Is it worth buying them from the booths in piccadilly or the internet? I want good ones like a good view of the stage.

The best website for finding package theatre ticket and hotel deals is http://usefulwiki.com/londontheatre. They also offer packages with restaurants if you are interested. I would go to the site and see what the options are for your preferred show/hotel location.

If this option is out of your budget, book a cheap London hotel or B&B and once you get to London visit the TKTS booth in Leicester Square for discounted tickets to that night's shows. This is really only a good idea if you don't have a preference what show you see since the tickets sold by TKTS are for shows with seats left for that night's performance and they do not offer tickets to new shows. The booth is open Monday – Saturday 10:00-19:00 and Sunday – 12 noon to 15.00. For the best chance of getting tickets to a good show, get to the booth a little bit before they open. TKTS is completely respectable and your tickets will be legitimate. If you buy discount tickets from one of the many shops in London that offer them, your tickets will likely not be legitimate. You can find out more about the location of the TKTS booth and how it works there. Cheers!

Best ways to get inexpensive theatre tickets in London?

I'm from the US, and I have a student ID. I'll be in London for the first two weeks of April. I mostly like musicals, so show recommendations are welcome too! (already have tix to Billy Elliot and Mary Poppins)
The person who actually gives the best answer will get the vote. That is all.

One way of getting inexpensive tickets to West End is to go to Leicester Square. There are a number of booths offering half price tickets to several productions. Take note, however, that half price deals are usually only available for the less popular shows, and that for popular productions (like the Phantom of the Opera) or shows that have recently opened, you may not be able to get half price tickets. Half price ticket booths normally take a small commission for each ticket purchased.

Another possibility is to go to the Theatre itself about an hour before the show and hope for return tickets which become available when people cancel their bookings. These tickets are usually offered at a discount.
